Three New Mexican caregivers share their stories of balancing work and caring for a loved one, and all of the love, labor, and hardship that comes along with it. Their stories offer a window into the lives of over 270,000 New Mexicans who provide 274 million hours of unpaid care every year. It’s time to support these caregivers by creating a Paid Family & Medical Leave fund so no worker ever has to choose between their paycheck and the health of a loved one.
