As Deputy Policy Director at New Mexico Voices for Children, Jacob Vigil fights day in and day out for policies that will improve the lives of children across the state. Jacob has helped lead the charge to pass paid family and medical leave in New Mexico so families who have less generational wealth, or who are living paycheck to paycheck, don’t have to struggle to get by when they need time off from work to take care for a new child or a seriously ill family member. He urges lawmakers to pass PFML as an investment in the future of New Mexico’s children.
